First I want to say that I do not promote using cracked software, expansions etc. I have used cracked software but if it turns out to be something I like, I buy it because the people who created it worked hard and that money goes to them or to creating new or updating the software. When I got my first Maschine (it was a Mikro MK2) I got it used but the guy said he never used or registered it (total lie).

A good friend/coworker just passed away (his funeral was yesterday) which is on my mind (he was seriously the smartest person I know and only 23). I was checking out the Maschine expansion packs but unfortunately can not afford to purchase any right now. In fact, my bank account is in the negative so I am really struggling. I also think making music helps me with my depression.

My question is, is it possible to use cracked expansions with legit registered Maschine software? I know if you have cracked Maschine software you can use cracked expansions but I have a legit registered Maschine with 1 or 2 legit paid for expansions. I tried to download a cracked expansion and it didn't work (the service center wanted me to register it). I don't like downloading cracked software but if this is possible and I like the expansion, I would buy it when I am able to or delete it if I didn't like it. I just need some new sounds/kits/instruments to make music/vent/stop myself from jumping off of a bridge. I don't know if any of you also suffer from depression but it can't be described and music helps so much.

First off, sorry about your friend mate. But do you not have samples and at least massive already?

I guarantee you'll be more fulfilled if you be as creative as possible with what you have. Seriously just fuck with massive for a few hours and you'll stumble on something you love. The process of doing that will allow you reflect how you're feeling with the music you make. It may be more difficult but probably much more rewarding. I use music the same way and when I'm feeling down I'll just load up a synth and go crazy.
