Hitmanpro Trial Reset
Good to know. I didn't really do much research into it. I'll just throw this thing in with my other on-demand scanners then.
This looks like an ideal 2'nd opinion scanner. So light since it's pure cloud & not sig.
Based, and with those 4 vendors that's one extensive library of malware. I hope that you keep it the way it is, a dedicated on-demand scanner, and not bloat it down. It is great at what it does. I'm not quite as generous as the other people who say 'just buy it', but if it ever does find a threat and the clock starts ticking a a result, I would certainly pay for this. It still may not be a bad idea to include an advanced install though. For people who tend to lose their apps and like to choose where to install them. Then this thing = perfect.
Here is a simple noob method to reset hitman pro. First activate free license. Then after the trial is over the program removal capabilties are stopped. But the scanner works as it is and the main problem arises if you want to remove a infection.
Okay, am I the only idiot that misread the instructions? I removed the.lic file, reopened Hitman Pro, went to license and clicked the free license button. Programma dlya rascheta obmotok elektrodvigatelya.
Now it says I have 30 days free license through 8/19. So, did I just screw up? I don't have any malware presently and don't need the free 30 day period to begin today. Sorry for the confusion. (I am a long time user, way before the cut-off date from June.) Thanks for any help with restoring the free license so I can use it when 'needed.' EDITED TO ADD: I just went back in and removed the license file again and it seems that the program is now back to 'not activated'.
Hopefully this resolves whatever issues my earlier confusion may have caused.
