The only reason I didn't go ahead with them was because I was really after the post code input functionality that I seen the Hazzy Days update brings (albeit for much more money). After speaking with him on e-mail, he said it was my choice, but that the official Audi updates that he supplies don't add post code functionality, and questioned how Hazzy Days were adding this in without some kind of unsupported code modification.

In the end Hazzy Days said someone would come back to me but didn't, and I forgot all about it! I think I'll get back in touch with him thinking about it!

Updated her 3G Plus MMI system to FW version K942 & the latest 2017 maps version 6.24.2 You will need VCDS to clear the errors and code the adaptation for the errors which show up due to the system not being able to verify with the Audi servers.

To be honest, unless you want to use it a lot it's probably better and certainly more economical to just buy a sat nav and stick it on the windscreen. That's what I do. But if I could somehow get a SD card and have it activated for less than a couple of hundred quid, I probably would! Hi Max It's only really SD sat nav that you can retrofit.

Connect is a whole different ball game (including a different screen as well that comes with the Tech pack) If you haven't got Tech pack then you will have to live without it - you will probably survive. In the sat nav link I gave above someone posted that their Audi dealer said that the activation charge would be £150 on an unused card obtained elsewhere.
